American Junior Golf Association

The American Junior Golf Association will recognize the State Farm Youth Classic by including it in their Performance Based Entry Recognition System (PBERS). Specifically, the AJGA will recognize the winners of the Boys and Girls 16-17 age divisions, 7B and 7G respectively, by awarding each winner 4 performance stars. The top 5 finishers in 7B will each receive 1 performance star, and if this division has a field size greater than 54, the top 10% of finishers will earn 1 star.  The top 3 finishers in 7G will each receive 1 performance star, and if this division has a field size greater than 29, the top 10% of finishers will earn 1 star.  Additionally, the winners of the Boys and Girls 12-13 and 14-15 divisions (5B, 5G, 6B, 6G) will each receive 1 performance star.

STATE FARM YOUTH CLASSIC TEAM COMPETITION

The State Farm Youth Classic will include team competitions starting in 2018.  The team competitions will be for the high school and college divisions for both boys and girls (14-22 year-olds).  Participants can be in either the 6B, 7B, or 8B for boys’ teams or 6G, 7G, or 8G for girls’ teams.

A team’s score will be made up of the top three scores.  There may be any number of individuals on a team, but only the top three will count in the team competition.  Each participant may only participate on one team. Players participating in the team competition must be registered and paid as individuals for the State Farm Youth Classic.
